The two story foyer features a beautifully
curved stairway that leads to the second level.
It is trimmed with Red Oak and Graceful Wrought Iron Railings.

The foyer floor is covered with Saltillo Mexican Tiles with a geometric mosaic that sets the eclectic style of the home. The mosaic spills over into the formal dining area and the saltillo continues throughout the ground floor.

We lived in South America for several years and loved the warm feel, beauty, and comfort of Saltillo Tile. The extra thickness (it's three to four times as thick as ceramic tile) creates an insulating layer and it's thermal conductivity is low, making it feel warm in winter and cool in summer.
